Apple USB Modem and Parallels

Has anyone here ever gotten the Apple USB Modem to work with Parallels or VMWare? I you have, can I ask how you did it?

I haven't actually tested it, but if you have your internet access working in Parallels through ethernet or wifi, then if you connect to the internet via the model in Mac OS X, the Windows VM should be able to share that just the same, although performance will probably not be as good as if you got the modem working directly. Also, this assumes you're using it for internet access and not some other dialup service.

Yeah, I should have been clearer on that. I can get it working through the shared connection but I'm trying to access a bank service through a different dial up service. Googling around, I think I'm SOL. I do have a PC I can fire up but I was really hoping to get this working on the Mac. No worries and thanks anyway.

I think your issue is the lack of Windows drivers for the Apple USB modem. You could always get a Windows compatible USB modem, that would probably work.
