Ringtone options for Treo 680

I just picked up a Treo 680. Anyone know of any software for the Mac that will let me convert mp3's into ringtones?

Thanks,
Kevin

I think you have to convert the mp3 to midi format to use it as a ring tone. The option most favored is using an app like RingoPro to play mp3 as ring tones.

Um you can install software on your Treo 680 and play MP3s as ringtones directly. No conversion required, or just use Garageband to snip the MP3 to the part you want to play. Copy it to your SD card, and use the program to play that MP3 as your ringtone.

Are you backed up??? If so, why? Psyllium Fibre is not free but will do wonders!

Phone Technician - Makes Your Treo A Better Phone! - Details

Hobbyist PhoneTechnician. I don't use it but I use their Butler software which has been pretty useful, they make decent software. Features include MP3 ringtones, escalating ring volume (like on Motorola phones). It's $14.95 tho.

Another option you have is exporting audio to AMR using Quicktime or something and sending it via Bluetooth to your phone.
