With iTunes 7.4, sync your favorite music and more with the new iPod nano (third generation), iPod classic, and iPod touch, plus create custom ringtones exclusively for iPhone with many of your favorite songs purchased from the iTunes Store. You can now also play purchased videos with closed captioning (when available), easily rate your favorite albums from one to five stars, and watch videos at a larger size inside the iTunes window.
What's unbelievable is that iTunes 7.4 came out on Thursday. iTunes 7.4.1 must obviously be a quick release to fix some last-minute bug that slipped through the cracks....

Can I stream my music from home via wi-fi? through the Safari browser? If so, I can have a 300Gig iPod Touch!
Technically, yes, as long as its not DRM-protected. Videos work as well.
So with something like dot.tunes, you could expose your iTunes library via a web page over WiFi, and the iPhone or iPod touch could access the content this way.
I'm not sure how well it would work for whole playlists, as you're really just playing the tracks back through the Safari browser's Quicktime plug-in, but it will technically be fine for single-track playback.

I notice you're in Toronto? Where did you find one? I only managed to get an 8GB Nano yesterday, and they only had those at the Yorkdale Apple Store....
I don't like the way it plays videos... It used to play them in a separate window and I got used to it... Now it plays a video directly in the iTunes window...
