Freware for copying DVD's

I video tape high school sports events and edit them. I don't have the space to store every event on my hard drive. I am looking for software that would let me copy the DVD's that I burn so I could easley make copys for them without reinporting the the video from mini DV taps and then re-editing it. I know that there are lots of solutions out there that you can buy but I don't want to put too mutch money into a program.
Thanks

Just do an image burn in Toast, that about as easy as it gets.
