The Next MBP!

I'm looking into purchasing a new MacBook Pro, as soon as a new revision comes around (from what I understand, anytime from April 15th - May). I know that the next revision will most likely have the new Santa Rosa chipset inside, but I was wondering, what else do you expect from the new MBP? Graphics? Display? RAM? Speed? Design?

I would be very interested to find you!

From what others are saying, it may only be something marginal, such as the usual jump in processor speed and maybe an upgrade in the graphics card. I'd like to see the LED display, but that may be asking for too much.

How many threads of this topic must we start??? Dude check out AppleInsider | Apple Insider News and Rumors or Mac Rumors: Apple Mac Rumors and News You Care About or Think Secret - Apple Mac Insider News for rumours -- they're just rumours. Even these three sites have been hit and miss with these rumours, how do you expect us to know? Even the retailers here don't have a clue until they get formally released either through a keynote or through a surprise -- big emphasis on SURPRISE -- Apple Store revision. If you need your new MacBook Pro buy it, if you don't then wait out for that indefinite period of time till the new one comes out. Don't be disappointed if that wait ends up being three or six months it's not Apple's fault it's your own psychological doing.

Sorry needed to get that out.

Are you backed up??? If so, why? Psyllium Fibre is not free but will do wonders!

Hmmmm I understand your pain but our friend here was just trying to start a dialog on the subject. No need to jump down his throat.

To comment on the original question I'd be very surprised if they updated the MacBook Pro. Apple's gotta be spread pretty thin with the iPhone launch, but more importantly they just recently bumped the stock ram and HD.

I'm just saying we already have a thread here started by AppleBook a mere 3 days ago:

So does the 15th now guarantee new MBPs?

And definetheline did post a few replies in there.

I'm trying to find the one making fun of Apple rumours and those trying to get a scoop on Apple rumours...

wait until the 15th, then buy a macbook pro core1 duo
save money and enjoy now

as don83, i also tire of the constant; "do i wait or do i buy?" questions

Ok definetheline to be fair... if they do release a revised MacBook Pro by the end of this month you can laugh at me and my "previous gen" MacBook Pro. But don't count on it.

Looks like they're still shipping in 1-2 days, and no word at all from the typical rumour sites. Sorry man!
