Potential Mac deal

Hi,

I just noticed on Apple store, that if you look at the Mac Pro's, then do a "Compare Specs", they give you pricing that is significantly lower than normal. They show a 24" iMac for $1999 and a 2.66Ghz Mac Pro for $2499. Those are around $300 below normal. At first I thought there were some pre-packaged specials (i.e. no build to order), but I suspect this is an error, perhaps US pricing. You can't seem to get these prices if you buy online. I wonder if they'll honour them though if you call the 1-800 number?

PS. Yes, I am looking at the right store, the higher CDN prices show up at the top of the page and the URL has the following in it: The Apple Store (Canada)

i bet this is purely a mistake. i highly doubt they would honour it b/c they probably go by what their store pricing indicates when you click through a 'buy' scenario, which shows 2799.

nice try though i would have been all over it and tried
