Any Suitcase Fusion users out there?

I just got an email note from Extensis offering a 20% off the regular upgrade price for Suitcase Fusion (and they are discontuing support for single user older versions).

Anyone upgrade and/or use Fusion? From the reviews I recall when it first came out, people weren't impressed. Anybody out there use it? Any thoughts?

I am interested in this as well.
The tricky thing with a font manager is that it is totally dependent on how good your fonts are. If you have buggy, crazy-making fonts, your going to have trouble no matter what font manager you use.
Makes it hard to get an accurate review of the product.

Been using it for a few weeks now and seems similar to X11 in many regards. Doesn't seem to like older Type 1 fonts though, but not sure if it's a system level issue. Illustrator doesn't seem to like displaying fonts in the text palette either... Not sure why.
Quark 7 seems to behave fine with it and I haven't used type in Photoshop, so can't offer any feedback on that particular application.
If you're using X11, I'd suggest saving your money and keeping it for as long as it's usable. The additional features with Fusion don't seem overly miraculous.

i used it when it first came out... had it on 2 different machines and it worked great i loved it. then one day it refused to load my fonts. all my sets were there. but according to suitcase no fonts existed... same thing happened on my other machine weeks later. i switched back to X1 that day. very counter productive to have to reload and set up fonts i need to use daily
