So how many hundreds of millions of dollars did Apple, Inc. have to shell out?

After reading the press release, I feel all warm and fuzzy. If we could all just negotiate our differences and come to peaceful resolutions.

Apple Inc. has settled its long-running trademark dispute with The Beatles' company Apple Corps Ltd., in a deal which could pave the way for the band's songs to be played on Apple's iTunes music store.

In a statement, the companies said Apple Inc. would now own all the trademarks related to "Apple" and would licence certain trademarks back to Apple Corps for continued use.
Reuters

Holy Cow! Apple Inc. appears to come out 'way on top with this... licensing trademarks back to Apple Corps? What, did Apple just buy the Beatles?

I can't wait to see what kind of agreement they've struck. You know there's a Beatles iPod in the works now!
