Front Row file formats

Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of video file formats Front Row reads. I wish apple allowed iTunes to rip DVDs you own, just like they do for CDs. Anyhoots, thanks for any info!

It's run from quicktime. Rip your DVD's with Handbrake. Put them in your Movies folder.. and voila!
