Slight problem with the iMac

Hello all,

I recently purchased the 24" iMac and noticed right off the bat that there are 3 seperate green pixels on the screen. What does this mean? I flicked 'em in the hope that they would go away but they didn't budge. I also noticed a faint blurred light coming from the area where the power light pulsates. My mac was off at the time and the shape of the light was distorted. Did I get a bad apple? I bought the Applecare at the time of the purchase so I wonder what can be done =/
Anybody experience this with their stuff?

Where did you buy it from? If it was BestBuy simply take it back and get another, they have a 14 day no questions asked policy. If it was Apple, there has to be more than 7 dead or stuck pixels for them to consider the display abnormal, this is true in the display industry at large.

Regarding the blurred light, if the computer was off there should be no light visible period. If that continues take it in for service.

I bought it at an Apple store. The blurred light I just noticed this morning and will check again to see if it continues. The 14 day no questions policy sounds great...I wonder why the Apple store doesn't offer that =/
