hum... this might turn into a troubleshooting issue then. i can only access the mac.com page on browsers where i am not logged in to .mac. otherwise, no luck.

my mail application has been wonky too - no access to my mac mail, though other accounts are fine.

all this since i set up the wireless connection via airport extreme this afternoon... strange.

seems to be related to my secure network

okay - i figured out that mac.com problems are related to the secure wireless network i set up yesterday. when i remove the security level, i can access the my .mac mail on the web and in the mail application. there are also a few other websites that act in this manner.

so - can anyone explain why WPA2 personal security is causing this (strange and annoying) situation?

apologies for this being in the wrong forum - it did not start off as a troubleshooting post.
