Working on setting up my Macbook for home. Here's what I'm thinking about doing:

Buy a 20" monitor hook it up to my MB (any suggestions on 20" monitors - I'm thinking Dell or Viewsonic - looking to keep it <$400).
Next purchase a bluetooth keyboard (any thoughts on Apple's?) I already have the wireless mighty mouse (bought it yesterday at Sherway and so far it is GREAT )

What I'd like to do is set my MB off to the side on my desk with the lid closed - however is there a way to prevent the MB from going to sleep when the lid is shut in this configuration. The primary use will be for work when I need to be at a desk and reviewing large spreadsheets or lengthy documents.

Thoughts, suggestions, comments welcome.

why shut the lid? leave it open for a little desktop extra. move the menubar to the main display and yer gold.

and go with the dell. the apple BT kb is great.

thanks, i like it as well. especially since i hooked up the gamecube via svideo and the xbox360 via vga. i never have to leave my desk!
