I think I am going to do a CC mac mini mod with it though...

Saxamaphone I feel ur pain! I was mac-less about 1 month back... wasnt fun! I tried using windows xp but I found myself getting mad all the time... my mom said to be patient but I know it's cause of my deeply rooted anger towards Windows from all my years of suffering and pain! Lets hope I can afford to get my parents a Mac... then I will gladly use a baseball bat to this Windblows computer!

I dont mind XP, but only because i lived through the dark years of windows 95. But I miss iLife apps, aperture, safari, mail... the list goes on. Personally I dont like the Finder in OSX or Explorer in XP so they are not really a factor. What I really do miss that surprised me a bit is Spotlight. I slowly began using it over the last year and now I love it. I use it for tons of stuff, even launching apps or utilities...

Ya SpotLight is a huge goody, it's a Windows killer as far as I am concerned.

You know I only recently started using spotlight! I convinced my cousin to get a Mac... I was teaching him for about a week how to use OS X Tiger and in that time I kept showing him Spotlight to find stuff quickly. HE LOVED IT! And now I find Im using a LOT myself lol... after I dono how many years of owning Tiger. I am hooked to Mac for many reasons... biggest application reasons are... iCal, Adium, Safari, Dashboard, iTunes & Aperture. I love these applications.. the ease of use, style, speed on my 400Mhz Pismo.

Try the local pub. I'm sure the folks there will let you join, especially if you buy a round or two.

How do you think I feel!

Thanks to Apple's crappy iBook quality the logic board failed back in april and I've been macless up til now. I'm just waiting for apple to update the cursed Macbook Pro. Which might not even happen at MWParis.

At least i'm past the withdrawal. Those were a tough few weeks
