Isn't Alexa listed as spyware in the anti-spyware programs on Windows?

I believe that by simply visiting this link and clicking the redirect link to go to ehmac.ca, a "hit" will be recorded.

The Alexa ratings are lame, since they mostly show what sites Windows IE users with the Alexa toolbar installed visit. That's a limited statistical sample to judge advertising rates with. Especially advertising to Mac owners!

Nevertheless, as ehMax pointed out, some people think Alexa statistics mean something.

I just searched, and yes, that will record it as a hit. I've changed my ehmac bookmark to http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?ehmac.ca . Now everybody can help, you don't need Firefox and the toolbar.

dona83 - It's listed as a data mining cookie as the cookie records where you go on the internet and reports that data to Alexa.

Still at 239,498. We'll see where we're at when they next update. Please help if you can! Install the toolbar and set those homepages to ehMac.ca!
