Carbon Computing cleaning out the basement...

So, we went through all the nooks and crannies in the building finding the old stuff, and decided to clear it out on our new e-commerce website.

http://www.carbonclearance.com

This is our first foray into online selling. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Oh come on now, where are the REAL basement deals? I've been down there, I've seen the Adobe Premiere v.3.0, the 32 MB SIMMs and the scores of NuBus cards. You're holding back on us!

That looks great, though. Love to see Carbon doing some e-commerce. Just the beginning??

Snapped up one of your SD cards. Seems you are adding $4 or so in handling but I can live with that.

Thanks for the order Macified. Your's was the first we've had. It helped us identify a bug in the system, that we have since corrected.

You order will ship tomorrow, with a little bonus inside.

We are just starting Ken. It's very tedious work hunting down images, loading it all into the system, managing the information systems, etc, etc. Absolutely, over the next few weeks you'll see those odd bits and pieces from different corners of the building. I figure I'll tackle SCSI cables next week.

Excellent, I am thinking about networking my cube and 7300 over SCSI. I'll need a Firewire-SCSI adapter and a Centronics 50 to DB25 male.

(Just kidding)

Looks pretty good. Navigating it a bit confusing with OSC at the best of times. Lots of pictures for categories, no product in them -- thanks goodnes for the "new this month" upsell boxes ... I'll keep watching for the LC475 network cards LOL (J/K have some, do you want them? while I'm at it I'll throw in a pair of LC475's too heh)

Why should it be necessary to create an account just to see what items are on clearance?

I didn't have to create an account until checkout time. Don't know where you went...
