Will you use XP on your Intel Mac?

In light of Apple allowing Windows XP to be installed on their Intel systems it would be interesting to see who will actually install Windows on their Mac.

Had to vote possibly: I can't see why I would need windows, but you never know in the long run.

Seems to me that as time goes on there is less and less reason to need anything more than OS X.

Well I guess now that Apple has switched to an x86 architecture which is better understood by developers, and unfortunately hackers and virus writers, we will probably begin to see more software coming out for the Mac operating system. However I have seen those who come in and buy an Intel Mac but wipe out the drive and install Windows XP on it.

Just ordered one for my son, a Mac Head also, but university demands some Windoze capability. So Win XP will reside on his new MacBook. These are great for the educational crowd, and everyone else ; )

I'll have it loaded on mine just to show my friends and colleagues, help with the switch campaign.

Well right now from what I was told the drivers provided do-not enable hardware acceleration yet. I wonder when the revised drivers will be out?

Hackers and virus writers target the OS or a piece of software - the architecture is secondary.

Um running Windows on Boot Camp provides a full hardware accelerated graphics eXPerience lol. Gaming on my iMac is sweet. When the Intel BigMac comes out I'm sure gaming will be even sweeter.
