That's great news. That's always bugged me about the iBook that we couldn't run in extended desktop mode. Its not a factor of a limited graphics card, either. My understanding is that this is by Apple's design (perhaps to sell more Powerbooks), and that you can get around it by doing a firmware change (which voids the warranty, btw).
