Design This System!

Hi Friends
I've been listening to my Sweety complain about not having her own computer and having to use my PB and not liking the laptop's keyboard, and...

Anyway, I've been trying to think of an economical solution, and this morning, I had an epiphany;
SatDaya uses the PB on a cabinet, with a cupboard hanging above.
A realised today that a Mac Mini woud be the perfect computer for her.
What I'd like to do is hang an LCD monitor from the cabinet above, and probably also mount the Mini hanging beneath the cupboard and behind the LCD.

Do you know of a 15 or 17 inch LCD monitor that I can hang from above (special mount?), and will the Mac Mini run alright, hanging upside down, will it stay cool, anything else I'm missing?

Also, if you have a better idea, I'm listening!

Thanks, Friends!

heat rises. the mac mini case was designed around this principle. i doubt it would be a good idea to hang it upside down for this reason.

I also think that the optical drive would not be to happy being upside down.

Most current LCD panels have VESA mount compatability - check places like TigerDirect.ca for inexspensive arms.

Also look here for mini mounting brackets:

Ooo. What about mounting the Mini on it's side, attached to a wall?

Also, I never learned how to post a photo in an ehmac post. if I sent the photo of the space to someone, could they post it for me?
EDIT: The link zarquon sent seems to solve a lot of my mounting issues
Thanks, Friends!

Soymac, you can upload it to the ehMac gallery, if you want. Or use my choice - TinyPic a great free resource for stuff like this.

You go to Tinypic, upload your picture, then copy and paste the URL it generates for you, into your post using the [IMG] tags, like this:
Code:
(IMG)http://i2.tinypic.com/imagenumber.jpg(/IMG)

- replacing the round brackets with square ones. [ ]

Thanks, OttawaMan and GratuitousApplesauce!
I'm going to take a photo in the AM (light) and take you up on your offer to help post said pic.
- Thanks!

Also, Yes, OttawaMan, I'm quite handy (at least I think so) with the power tools (or just fearless).
