DLink make a good router, as does, surprisingly, MS.

Have a look around,
a while ago I bought a couple of DLink 604 wired routers for $10-15 each ( onsale ), really decent boxes. The Linksys ones are goo too.

Why not get a Linksys WRT54G.Its wireless and wired. That way you have the option down the road. Great router IMHO.

I've been using a D-Link 604 for a network of 3 computers in our house for years now,
They are rock solid routers and I haven't had a single problem.

I also have a DWL-900AP+ D-Link wireless access point attached to it for the 3rd computer.

IIRC there are modems with a router in them somewhere. Probably cost twice what a modem and a router would cost separately. If a surge or something gets your cable it will get your router too. I'd stay away.

I second that. I have that router and it's great.
