I respect the workarounds ... but I'd still really like to see Apple address this UI problem. It's a big one and it's something that all of their apps are moving towards. Apple used to have (and follow) their strict UI standards, which seems to be a thing of the past these days
I agree that the Spotlight _interface_ leaves a lot to be desired.
But I am convinced you're all a bunch of dinosaurs who are missing the point.

You're ready to look me in the eye and tell me that you can't see the potential with something like being able to know how many songs you have in your music collection are between 100 and 120 seconds? And thats just a fluffy (but strangely tantalizing) example. Think!
