Question Price Check - PB 15" 1.25Ghz

Hi folks,

Well...the macbookpro is looking too good to pass up. I am thinking of selling my 15" Powerbook 1.25 Ghz machine. It has 10.4.5, 2Gb ram. Any idea what it is worth? I am willing to throw in the brand new battery (3 weeks old) and iLife '06 that I just bought.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks

Mike

I have seen so many used powerbooks/ibooks go on sale here and on redflagdeals that its honestly a buyers market, you won't get what you want for it if you can find a real buyer at all.

this is all my opinion of course.

While this is all and fine I would really like to get an idea of what the Powerbook is worth should I try to sell it.

I was thinking somewhere in the $1500 range. Is this out of line.

You'd be lucky to get $1500...

I was considering selling my Powerbook but I don't think its even worth giving it up for the money I've put into it.. I think I'm just going to keep this baby until it dies.. My archive and collection of everything PPC that this thing can run has begun.. as long as I've got enough software to keep it running..I think I won't get rid of it until I've got to spend more money repairing it then it will cost me to buy a new ibook..

Long live PPC!!! Stupid consumer force fed upgrades..unless your a professional and you need it then thats alittle different but for the rest of us..I'm escaping this need to upgrade for the sake of upgrading..

I'd say $1500 is good, since it's coming with 2GB of ram and new battery...

I'm interested in buying a 15 powerbook. Is this still for sale?
