If you're in Ottawa, the Carleton University bookstore will have some...I'd imagine by the 22nd or 23rd of Feb if they ship on the 15th. I called the Yorkdale location and the girl said she didn't know yet. I think once the status on the apple.ca changes from "Shipping in February" to "shipping in 24 to 48 hours" will be a good indication it's on the way :-)

Thanks. I'm in Toronto, so I guess it should be the same as Ottawa?

No usually.Sometimes they will arrive on that date but most likely it will ship that date.

As long as that retailer ordered there MBP's on Jan 10th and everything is going well with Apple's production. Then it should ship on the 15th hopefully! I'm expecting mine to be sitting on my desk by February 23rd.

My order date was Jan 16, 2006 at 04:23 PM PST. The estimated ship date is February 15, 2006. Hope it happens, although were not getting great reviews on the speed of the core duos, although I'm sure it will be a darn site faster than my souped up 667 mHZ Titanium PowerBook.

I e-mailed Apple over the weekend regarding the estimated delivery date for my order, as it doesn't provide this when I check the status of my order (I know, I'm impatient)

They got back to me today - they didn't really give me an answer regarding the estimated delivery date, but they did say "Apple expects to ship your order on time". My estimated shipping date is Feb. 24th. That is a little reassuring - I hope it ships earlier :P

When I ordered my Mac Mini last March, it was supposed to ship on April 8th, but it got pushed back until April ... 21 i think? Sucked that I had to wait longer, but it worked in my favour, as I qualified for the Tiger Up-to-Date. Had it shipped on April 8th before the official announcement of Tiger (on April 12th), I wouldn't have qualified. I know its hard waiting, but sometimes good things are worth waiting for :P

I just hope this release doesn't have the issues that occured with some Powerbooks, ie: heat issues, the frame warping and the base becoming unbalanced when sitting on a flat surface.
