I bought one from a friend for $850 (12-inch model,Combo drive), with an external 40GB hard drive and an external LG burner. And it has a little over 2 years applecare left. HTH.
I'm looking at purchasing an iBook G4, 1.2 MHZ, 768 MB RAM. So what's a fair price? It is in like new condition. Asking $900. Thanks.
You didn't look at my ad in vancouver craig's list did you? I live in New Westminster and was trying to sell a similar system back in November. Thought it might've been coincidence. $900 is good tho considerring the highest I was offered for mine was $1100. I have a G4 1.2Ghz, 768MB RAM, 60GB HD (CTO), Bluetooth (CTO), Airport Extreme.

Are you backed up??? If so, why? Psyllium Fibre is not free but will do wonders!
i'd say if it's $900 no tax, then that's a good deal. they were $1249 when new (if its the base model) but that would have only been with 256 meg ram, so you are getting a little bonus ram included since you say the one in question has 768 mb ram.
go for it. you won't be disappointed with the little ibook.
