Price/Interest Check: iMac G4 20" 1.25 ghz

Well, I may finally be getting an iMac G5, so I was wondering what I could expect to get for my iMac G4:
iMac G4 20” 1.25ghz
- Superdrive
- 768 mb RAM
- 80gb Hard drive (7200 RPM)
- NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 64mb Graphics Card
- 20” Display, no dead pixels or other issues
- In near perfect condition, very minimal wear (not noticeable at all)
- Swing arm is in great condition, lots of tension
- Includes original iMac speakers (Harman Kardon, in excellent condition) and all original cables etc.
- Original box available
- Mac OS 10.3
Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I would assume you could get $900-$1000 considering it's got the superdrive, speakers, and a 20" screen and upgraded ram.

Ouch!...ah well, it always hurts to learn your beloved computer is worth less than you thought Anyways, I thought maybe $1100 but perhaps I am too high, any other opinions?

They are collector items you just can't tell - I'd eBay it and see - It IS hard against the $1499 monster just released but the collector aspect changes the valuation.

If you have complete packaging etc you may just get your price.

i may be wrong on that price, I'm just going by what I was told I could get for my 17" iMac G5 with 1.8ghz, superdrive, and a gig of ram. I was told around $1100 for it.

Yeah that's about right for that if maybe a tad high.
For the longest time 20" G4s were sitting right at thesame price as 20" G5s.

Purely a design thing - floating screen etc and adequate performance for the congnoscenti. Go figure.

We were continually surprised how well even the 15" went on ebay -as high as $710 for a barebones 700 last month

You rarely see them come on the market- i guess the small footprint means they find homes easily.
Truly a breakthrough design from Apple and will rank with the TAM and Cube as long term "desirables".

CN, i bet you could get 1100 on ebay. The 20'' is an excellent machine (and you have the box:O). Best of luck!

Thanks! I think I will try ehMac and some other classifieds (eg- Craigslist...bring on the scammers!) first, just to see. If not, I will likely end up eBaying it!
Thanks again!
