If you want to hold off until Jan and be one of the first to try out the MacIntels, that will be the only reason for you to wait. Nothing is going to happen before the Jan world expo.
I am almost certain there will not be a boxing day sale at the Apple store, and most of the time other retail shops do not pull sales on Apple merchandise. |

Hi,
Another reason to wait for the middle of January Expo is that should new Intel Powerbooks be released then the current G4 Powerbooks will go down in price. Personally I wouldn't buy a 1st generation Intel Powerbook, but if waiting a month resulted in a hundred dollar price drop on the G4 machine I had my eye on then I would wait. Can you wait 30 days?
