ok, so i have a program a DL'ed and it's installed, but it won't run without the original CD. so i'm trying to figure out how to run the .dmg file thru disk copy and make it into a cdr.dmg file so the program will run off that.

rick the scientist showed me how to do it once for UT, but i can't recall how to now....

any help?

Thanks.

If you have a .dmg file you should simply be able to double click it and Disk Copy will automatically mount the image. Some programs won't fall for this little trick though.

This reminds me of an essay I saw the other day: .dmg files considered harmful.
