And while we are at it, how about a weather widget for Konfabulator that works?

Heck, I'd settle for a Dashboard weather widget that works... Frankly, I find it just as convenient (and more accurate) to click my Environment Canada bookmark.

Edit: My apologies for encouraging the off-topic wandering

Nice widget, though it doesn't seem to work for my particular south-shore suburb. The temps are quite different (read: optimistic) from the EC site and the Konfabulator widget. I bet we don't get up to 19 on Sunday

But to keep this more on the original topic--how hard is it to develop widgets? I would love to have a 411/yellow pages widget and an EC weather widget. Widgets are simply gathering information from the Internet, are they not?

I find the Tiger weather widget to be fairly good, but the environment canada website is more accurate. No one knows a yellow pages one though?

Not sure what the advantage of a widget is for weather. I use Meteorologist and it sits in my menu bar to be seen at any time without the annoyance of hitting dashboard. It is extremely configurable and allows for the lookup of several areas at once.

iPetie. Hey, thanks for the tip. Sure looks like a nice little app so far, and pretty close to the EC forecast. Plus, you have stuff like humidity and UV index right there. Nice.

No sweat! I'm not against widgets for some needs but for Weather, Meteo is great. And the best part, FREE!

Stay On Topic!

Umm... the original question was, is there a yellow pages widget for Canada, NOT is there a weather widget that you like. Can someone please answer this question? I would also like to know.
