Considering they just dropped the price of the displays and don't update them very frequently (why would they need to?) I'd take a pinch of salt. Then after hearing the source, I'd skip the salt and ignore it all together. But that's my blatantly biased opinion about MacOSRumors and their track record.

The best part of that post was the rumour about 10.4.3. I hope it's true, and I sure hope it fixes the couple of bugs that have been bugging me.

I don't see a feasible reason as to why the displays would be updated/revised, personally speaking. What am I missing?

macsackbut - 1000 bug fixes? All the other rumour sites have numbers closer to 550, and that at the moment it has no issues so could be released in a matter of days if Apple wanted to. Not to mention this was posted a couple of days ago.

Generally I agree with the naysayers...but a display to match the price range of the Mac Mini would be nice, and the old 17" was never replaced.

cool, I am considering a move to widecreen lcd it'd be interesting to see what apple offers.
