Recording sounds from the computer onto the computer.

I have a little app called Noise which generates white noise. Now for reasons I won't go into I need to record it as an MP3.

I have Quicktime Pro but the nly input I have is using my iSight it doesn't work all that well.....is there a way to record it straight from the program ?

any help appreciated

WireTap?

FWIW, you could more easily find a white-noise file hidden in GarageBand or with Google. I'd try that first.

Ipkmckenna....

Thanks for the tip....I ended up using Audio Hijack, seemed to do the trick. It seems to be along the same lines as WireTap.

What you need is an app called Audio Hijack Pro. It allows you to select which applications you wan to record from.
