I just bought one this afternoon. Absolutely amazing. Its hooked to my PowerBook--12", 1.33ghz, 1.25gb RAM. I expected some slowdown thinking that the video card might have some trouble keeping up, especially considering that the PB is dividing the 64mb into two halves, one for the computer screen and one part for the 1600x1050 screen. But none whatsoever. Very quick.

Thanks, Parousia, for the reply. I'm with you--now I really hope that Gateway has produced a good quality product. Especially since there was no way I was going drop another $129 for the extended warranty.
