Tiger on a Blue and White G3

Not sure if this has been discussed or not: is it worth it to upgrade my PowerMac Blue and Whites (500MHZ) to Tiger?

Advantages? Disadvantages?

Tiger runs faster than panther overall. With Tiger, especially on a B&W, that more RAM is better. At least 512MB I would recommend (worked so much better in my iBook when I upgraded the RAM).

It can't hurt. It should run faster -- although, Spolight searches have beeen a bit slower than I would have expected... but it's a GREAT way to get at stuff!
