We had a Tech here last week as we were experiencing intermittent outages. Something that had never happened before. As it turned out, we were getting to much signal into the house and the modem could not handle it.
He said that Rogers was experiencing intermittent issues due the roll out of the phone service and they were boosting and or upgrading several areas. He said the issues would likely return to normal in a couple of weeks. You may be in that boat right now.

Sounds about right. Probably has to do with the change in modems too? We're supposed to exchange our old modem for a new one (DOCSYS (sp?)) by the end of this month.
Slow here in T.O. no shock, been an awful service from the the get go for me. At best it's always been average. I just made the move to DSL, Sonic Networks (www.gosonic.com) yes it's cheaper but more importantly it's faster than what Rogers had to offer.
