How do you program that third button?

With the release of the mighty mouse I notice that there is a way to program extra mouse buttons. I just bought a mouse with a scroll wheel/3rd button but I could not figure out how to program that button to do anything...any mac experts out there want to lend me a hand and tell me how to program the third button??

thanks

This should be in the Troubleshooting section.

The actual place to check where you want to assign keys is in the Dashboard/Expose Preferences themselves. Aside from that.. the mouse should have come with some software which allows you to customize the mouse aswell. Logitech Control Center for example comes on CD with every logitech mouse. I believe you can download it as well.

Check the Mouse and Keyboard preferences, it might recognize more than one button is available and give you the option to configure it. If not there, then check the manufacturer's website and see if there is any software available for configuring your mouse.

In Expose you can configure upto 255 mouse buttons to use expose and dashboard. For other functions you'd need to install the mouse driver.
