OS X Tiger (printing issues)

Just wondering if anyone who has installed Tiger is having similar problems as I am. I have been trying to print to a splash server from xerox, the os it's running is OS X 3.9. I'm finding on certain Apps like Quark, photoshop, preview etc, displays the print window but I don't seem to be able to click on the print icon.
Please if anyone know anything that I should try to correct this I am more then willing to try. =)
