Exclamation Oops! Message sent out to more people than intended?

I was going to send out a message to ehMac members who indicated that they lived in the Kitchener area to see if they were interested in a Kitchener area ehMac get together and to also let them know of my new venture with Carbon Computing Kitchener.

The vBulletin engine has a system to send a message to those who indicate they don't mind receiving emails. The engine was supposed to only send out a message to about 60 people, and at first it looked like that's what it id. But it then proceeded to say something like (Sending out message 4630...)

Anyways, if you received the following message and you're not anywhere close to Kitchener, my apologies. Going to try to put a Kitchener area ehMac get-together that will put Macnutt to shame.

If you received the above message and you Don't have Kitchener listed as your location in your preferences, could you let me know?

Unhappy

Wierd though, I live in K-W and I didn't get your message about an ehmac gathering. A friend sent it to me. Go figure!

Hey Chipper, I checked your profile, and you have "No" checked off for "Receive admin emails".

I figured out a way to do it a bit different next time so I know exactly how many emails are being sent and to whom.

Anyways, so far about 10 people have said they would come!

Thanks, Mr Mayor. I fixed the pref so it shouldn't be a problem in future.
