OK I admit it I have spring fever and I want to upgrade.

I'm thinking of plunking down some serious coin and getting me one of those new fangled G5's I keep hearing about.

Anyways, I might be tempted to trade-in (naw - sell) my beloved B/W but I want to get an idea of what it might be worth. Problem is that I know how much it's worth to me but is it really what I'd get on the street?

OK the B/W's specifications:

B/W tower Revision B Motherboard
G4/500 ZIP CPU (not overclocked, an actual G4/500 with 1MB L2 cache)
CPU cooler fan (my mod)
1GB RAM (4X 256MB SDRAM)
Sonnet PCI ATA/66 card with Westen Digital 80GB and 40GB 7200 rpm HDDs
Seagate 80GB 7200 rpm HDD on the main IDE channel
ATi 16MB Video card with DVD decoder
PCI Ethernet 10/100 card
Samsung DVD
Apple Pro keyboard and one button mouse (black)

This is one serious performer and has never let me done. The only downside is the lack of a serious video card but since it usually runs in a headless state, the video card was never an issue before.

Currently running OSX Panther 10.3.8 Server but that is not included. OS X 10.2.x and OS 9.2.x w/disks would be installed.

You would probably do better for yourself if you part it out and sell it in a stripped down form.

It seems when you are selling an older used machine, the extra gear won't have much impact on the perceived value for buyer, but at the same time neither do things like an older videocard really bother them.
