Talking Is George Bush the new Steve Jobs??!

Observing Bush's European trip this week, German magazine Der SPIEGEL compared Bush's efforts to Steve Jobs'!

Quote:
Bush is like the endlessly creative (and fabulously wealthy) founder of Apple Computer, Steve Jobs.

Hmm... I don't know if that's a compliment for Bush or an insult to Steve Jobs?! Or both??!

Well I am not a GWB fan .....

But I understand that they are both micro-managers and control freaks. And both seem to surround themselves with "yes"men. I certainly hope that we have more than 4 more years of Steve and that we will not have more than four of GWB

from the article:

Quote:
[Bush] once endearingly (and embarrassingly) referred to [Putin] as "Pootie-Poot," but these days simply calls "Vladimir."

No comparison...

Steve Jobs makes money. GWB spends far more money than he (via his policies) brings in. Apple has billions in the bank; the White House is putting the U.S. trillions into the red - which, ultimately, isn't good for Canada.

I don't think there is any evidence that GWB is a micromanager. Indeed, his defense has always been that he doesn't recall the details. Now if you're talking about Dick Cheney... but he doesn't look too good in a turtleneck.

It's a matter of using your power for good or for evil.

Dick Cheney is a turtle neck.

One is an innovator that makes cool products that benefit the world. The other is an inept hack that recites tired cliches and sends America's youth off to die.

Not a lot in common in my book.
