Anyone else having problems??
Rogers says they are down and even our monster in the US Verio says they are having volume issues - tax time maybe.

luckily for me i only have 1/2 the problem,
my incoming mail is downloaded thru a different server
BUT
my outgoing has to go thru ROGERS and i have been getting sporadic service all day.
if i call on get put on hold for 15 minutes, they will give me 37 cents for a full day of non functioning email....
phew... I thought that I was the only one. it just happened to coincide with my move to Entourage X (more on that later). I was wondering why my Rogers mail was going no where... Oh well.. I'll wait until a day or so passes.

I only use the SMTP servers from Rogers, and I'm not having any luck right now too.
Talking to a lady today who just bought a Mac and was signing up with Rogers Cable over the phone. The guy on the phone askes her, "Why would you get a Mac for? I can't believe anyone buys those."
What a friggin Moron. Even if it was the reverse... if some lady just bought a PC, why would an official Rogers employee say something that would make a customer feel bad?
Er... I have a HATE/love relationship with Rogers. I love high speed internet when its working (I don't have DSL in my area). Everyone else pretty much sux in my opinion.

Screw Rogers guys. Use .Mac. Seems much more reliable (at least it has been)....
Rogers support for Macs is p.a.t.h.e.t.i.c. Just che\ck out their email set up pages. Only two options for Macs (and neither actually use Mac specific instructions). However, their actual pipes are great......
I have to say, having used both Shaw Cable and Telus DSL here in the Greater vancouver Area that ADSL is the better choice (at least from Telus, who don't use PPPoE but do require you register a MAC address with their server).
