I was wondering if anyone here knows of a way (easy or not) to import mail from Outlook XP into Mail.app (the mail reader that ships with OS X)?

Apple has a Knowledge Based article here. Titled
Mac OS X Mail: How to Import Email From a Non-Macintosh Computer

There is also the program called Move2Mac which is supposed to make the whole process painless. Although, I believe this just does your address book and setting, not the actual email message.
