finally...a 466Mhz Clamshell

I finally got my hands on a green G3 Clamshell ibook with airport. It is a 466 Mhz and it fits into my collection nicely. I need a battery but that is not a problem. I love the keyboards on these! $50 bucks and is really nice shape!

Did my MA on a 300mhz tangerine clamshell many moons ago... a heavy beast, and the power adapter "Mr. Sparky" was a threat to human life, but I did like that model very much...

I just read that you can update the display so you can have 1024x768 by using a 12" LCD from a newer ibook and cable. Might do it, but may leave as a collectors. I really didn't mind these. I had a few, but never the 466 green one

You can put in a display from a 12" iBook (white G3/4)? I didn't know that; and I have a spare one : ) .

Both! A spare white iBook with the upgrade screen, but you might want to see how much work it is to install it.
