Macbook Pro 13" Case suggestions?

Looking for a permenant case to add on my macbook to protect it. I have a two kids under 6 running around, and just fret over what could happen, not to mention the scratches that could happen on my macbook from day to day use.

Any thoughts?

I really likes this one when I was considering the macbook air...

A plastic case isn't going to protect your computer from a broken screen, or anything other than superficial scratches.

If anything, it'll make it hotter and less comfortable to use.

My 2¢.

not true, I have used incase shells on my laptops with out issues and my wife uses speck hard shells - never had an issue with heat what so ever - as for drops.. Wife dropped her laptop on the hard wood floor from her lap.. no marks, dents or other damage.. as for the hardwood.. it faired worse..

I do prefer cases on our units - to prevent dents and scratches...

if you done like hard type shells you can add zagg, its like a clear thin plastic wrap on your unit..
it takes lots of patience to install but looks great.

they also tend to usually scratch the living crap out of the computers as you get debris between the computer and the case etc.

Find an InCase Perforated. Nice feel to it; lots (!) of holes to circulate air. Take it off once in a while to clean the case and computer.

Now let InCase release one for Retina already...

some good thoughts far...wanted to add that the carbon fibre is something that's good too from a grip perspective when the mbp is closed, but would prefer the non sticker type, and something that clings on instead...

Maybe speck is the best for that...don't know...actually, it doesn't come with carbon fibre cases...
