I purchased DA and found it certainly does not function as I had hoped. After having used the software I can still find many many duplicates in my iPhoto collection. I finally bit the bullet and manually went through all my photos to trash my duplicates. This took many hours of laborious work.

Is my copy flakey or is this a known problem with this software?

Hmmm... what's your point and why did you do the duplicate "cleanup" manually after purchasing the Duplicate Annihilator app??

Did you even bother to check their Duplicate Annihilator Help or Manual, or even contact them or even check any of their support pages??
