noob SSD question

I thinking buying a 64GB SSD as a boot disk with lower write speed.I want to ask do i need to reconsider buying a bigger drive with faster write speeds the cache of OS and apps need faster write speed or is these are just a matter of read speed.

If it's critical, then you could do some Googling instead of whining about the lack of responses after only two and a half hours.

Any SSD will provide much better boot times!
Don't get hung up on read and write times!
They are all 10 times faster than what you are used to!

Yes i am aware of that the thing i cannot clear out is for example i use motion 5 in preferences says about store cache files, these cache files depends on write speed or read speed

What kind of performance are you looking to get? Motion has always ran fine on hard drives, they'll run way way faster on SSDs.

It's up to your budget, really. Many consumer drives run about 1/2 to 2/3 the write speed as read speed, and that's fine. Size doesn't affect performance unless you're going to fill that drive up. I'd worry more about SSD reputation/reliability.

Are you backed up??? If so, why? Psyllium Fibre is not free but will do wonders!

I dont need space i have only 20gb apps another disk for media so 64GB should be the best option i decide go to sasmung 830 but the bigger models has same read speed but better write speed so my concern which i havent found a answer is the caches from apps depends on drive's write speed or read speed.

The larger drives will have slightly faster read/write speeds but you likely won't notice much if any difference in the real world once the SSD is installed so IMO just buy a quality drive and relax.
