Couldn't you have bootcamp to run the game if you wanted to?
I have the XBOX. Just prefer to sit in front of 55" instead of at my desk.
I guess it is a matter of taste as other people have said it is as good as MW2.
Nope I'm on a MacPro 1.1 and with snow leopard the old Mac Pros were dropped as supporting boot camp. I'm sure if I hunted around for drivers it would still probably still work but I don't need to play it that bad... I have better things to do than hunt around for drivers for boot camp.

All my friends seem to hate Black Ops, then again they seem to hate MW3 as well, they seem to have deserted me (I stayed with MW3) and gone to Battlefield 3. (Maybe hate is isn't the right word, they just don't want to play MW3).
Are you going to buy Black Ops 2? I think my next multiplayer game will be Halo 4.

Yeah, I deserted the Mac for games 2 or 3 years ago, and went to an Xbox 360 in front of a 51" TV, too.

I think i have given up on all of Call of Duty games. Just prefer a little more challenge then people running around quick scoping. I tried BF3 and returned it the very next day. Right now I just finished Ghost Recon campaign as I enjoyed that.

Yeah, I'm not a quick scoper either... hate those guys. I'm impressed by those guys, but I hate'em.
Right now single player wise, I just finished Mass Effect 3 and started Prototype 2. Did a little coop play in Mass Effect 3. Also a little disappointed in the ending(s) of Mass Effect 3. (I was about to explain why, but thought I may spoiler it for some, and I'm not sure we have spoiler tags on this forum).
Also played Assassin's Creed Revelations before Mass Effect 3.

What does "quick scoping mean"? I don't play multi-player always just against the computer.
I'm really bad so because I play so infrequently... I wouldn't want to play against others who are way more skilled than me... I'm a SAVE as you go kind of guy. I would find it frustrating getting killed by all these game crazed kids all the time. I just like to take things at my own/the computers pace.
I got tired of having to pull out my COD 2 DVD every time I wanted to play, so I sprung for COD 4 when it came up half-price at the MacGameStore. Pure digital and no moving parts - nice.
But I find I'm often frustrated by the environments... the ability to interact with objects in the maps... climb on top of objects, destroy walls, furniture, etc... I was hoping for something less restrictive.
