Maybe we have different tastes in music but I've yet to find a station in iTunes I can't get on tunein... Quite the opposite actually in that I can't get most local stations in the iTunes directory(though most can be added manually) whereas they are automatically found and easily accessible via tune in.
Resurrecting this thread.
Weirdness prevails. Just for fun, thought I'd check Pandora last night on my MBook, see if I'd still get that "...you're in Canada, loser, and you can't access us..." notification.
Didn't.
Searched an artist. Music came up, started playing. So far, so good. Played about 10 tracks, nice mix. Decided to change the artist and see what would happen. Up came the register page. Hmm. NOW, they'll get me.
Nope. Started the registration, added a Michigan postal code.
I'm in.
Odd.
I was even sent the welcome e-mail a bit later.
What has changed? Or did I fluke through a black hole somewhere? I checked again here this morning, still working. No burps.
Maybe I'll shut up so as not to jinx things.
/M.

How about that? Even with a tabbed bookmark, I go to revisit Pandora just a moment ago - and the dreaded, "...you're a crazy Canuck and you should know better than to even try to access our site!"
Wonder how I slipped through the first time? Oh well, back to RP and/or KCRW.
