can anyone help with my jailbreak question ?

so I jailbroke an older Rogers 3GS iPhone I have. Used the usual suspects, Redsnow w Ultral Everything appeared fine with no errors at all. I was able to install Cydia with no problems. I actually installed mywi with no problems either.

I ran Ultrasn0w and that appeared to have worked to "sim " unlock the phone. However, when I insert a "Bell" sim card, the phone gets stuck in "searching" in the top left of the screen where the carrier is normally displayed.

Any suggestions ?

It could be something as simple as a defective SIM from Bell. I have had similar issues with my Bell 3Gs itself. Bell replaced the SIM and then I have not had such problems. Try another SIM from Bell or even from Telus or something to verify that your unlock has indeed worked.

What firmware did you upgrade to, did you preserve your baseband when you upgraded?
