Getting an iPhone 4s is next to impossible.

Okay so I've waited a couple of weeks for the hoopla to die down, but it seems there's still very limited stock (at least in the GTA).

Is there some trick or secret to finding stock? With Apple's online reservation system, it seems worse that everyone's slamming the servers at 9pm that you can't even access the page. I was told that this is the new process and that in-store lineups is a thing of the past.

At least allowing purchases at the store on a first-come-first serve basis would have provided another way to serve their customers.
Surely Apple could have worked out a better more efficient way after all the experience they've had with previous iPhone launches.

Man, it must suck for Apple always trying to meet demand.

This was put to an end by management of most Malik's who were sick of dealing with Apple Store lineups 24/7.

The phone made obsolete in a record 9 hours? Really? It's pretty much the Bionic (announced at CES) in a nicer shell.

I think the availability issues are with the unlocked phones from Apple. I want an unlocked phone as I am in mid contract, and want an unlocked phone thats not locked to rogers, so could use it anywhere with any carrier.

I have been trying to reserve now for 2 days, tonight will be the third. Servers get overloaded at 9 pm when they take reservations, by the time I can actually get the reservation page to load, there is nothing available.

I did try walking into an Apple store but they would not sell me one unless I have a reservation.

Reserved mine with Rogers, on the day they opened reservation, and today got the email that it's been shipped.
Just have to be patient, I don't know what the big rush is.
