I'm planning to upload my pictures to my iPad when traveling in Europe. I also shoot in RAW format. So does anyone know if I will be able to download my pictures in RAW from the ipad, or does the iPad compress the files to JPEG?
On a recent trip I shot some photos in Raw on my dslr. I then transferred them to my iPad. Without thinking much about it I tried emailing a few. They were sent in RAW and not viewable by most. The iPad appears to store them in the format they are shot in.
