Oh, so it's not actually a functioning bluetooth keyboard with a trackpad... just a case. Neat idea....
Yeah, I wondered about that too! Do you suppose it would be possible...............?? That would be good for writing on the iPad but I guess when it comes down to it it would be more efficient to just carry my MB....

There are cases on the market that do this. Converting an old macbook would not be practical as you'd need a way to make the keyboard and trackpad bluetooth. The trackpad would not supported on a stock iPad but is if you jailbreak for mouse control.

I've been trying to get a Clamcase out of the States but they will not ship to Canada yet. Granted by the time they get around to it they will probably discontinue the one for the iPad 1.
At least they put a felt liner around the opening or it would probably scratch the heck out of the iPad every time you stuffed it in. Hmm I think we have a dead Macbook floating around somewhere.....
