itunes 10.1.1

Don't upgrade. Upgrade has problems with shared stuff. Will not play some of my handbrake video.

My laptops did not get the upgrade and there's no issue. It looks like Apple has pulled the upgrade from their site as both laptops show no updates available.

It showed up just now in Software Update check.

HOWEVER: occassionally I have in the past provided links to instructions or illustrations. I will not do so in future, in fact I will not be offering helpful advice for free just to have my words pirated until the sleazy ad linking desists. I will, however, answer PMs.

If you stream video don't do it. My system is becomes unstable if I try and play video. Music plays fine but can no longer airplay to other devices.

I had troubles trying to play a video from another iTunes library wirelessly. Rebooted and seemed to work fine again.

I've rebooted, reinstalled, everything and still have problems with video and stability when trying to play video. Apple's support forum is full of hundreds of comments so I'm not alone.

I upgraded early this morning. My iTunes functions normally with all my Handbrake files, video, movies and everything else. It upgraded 18 apps today on my iPhone, all flawlessly. My music is intact and plays without issue. MBP 10.6.5. Just saying.

This thread is pretty much a repeat of http://www.ehmac.ca/mac-ipod-help-troubleshooting/91914-dont-update-itunes-tonight.html.

Apple just released firmware upgrades to their networking gear....time capsule, airport express, and airport base station. Just installed all and everything is back to normal. 10.1.1 was playing havoc with my internal LAN.
Phew.
